Giants at Pats, Over 34
This will be the 3rd year in a row that these two teams will meet in preseason week 1.
In 2001, the Pats won at home, 14-0
In 2002, the Giants won at home 22-19 - I made a note myself at the time that the Pats appeared to lay off in a 4rth qtr drive and let the Giants win - the ats ended up being a push.
Fassel and Bellichek are friends. The two teams have no animosity of any kind between them. Bellichek is restructuring the defense while Fassel is trying to rebuild the right side of his offensive line and work on an air game.
What all of this means to me is a game where both teams will score in the high teens or low twenties with the Pats winning by about 3 points - In my estimation, the over is the way to go in this game.
